Picked up that McFarland intake that has been for sale forever. What are some fun engine combinations that would complement this intake?

Re: McFarland

I think it super rad that an active member and real enthusiast got this intake but I extra DO NOT want to know what hole got bent into your wallet for it.

I paid a very fair price for it.

Re: McFarland

That was for sale since like 2020 im surprised it took so long to move it I've sold complete superrams for more than what it was last priced at nice to finally see more angles on it looks like it was modified to fit raised port heads or a 1206 gasket dont know if that would clear the thick vette magnesium valve covers. If you get a chance can you post the runner length? From the old sales pics the angles were bad it looked like 3-4 inches but from these angels they look much longer like 5-6

Great buy and enjoy the intake

You are correct, it was modified and ported to 1206 gasket.

Runner length is 4.5

Re: McFarland

Ah man, you picked up that intake. I saw it on craigslist a few years ago and posted it on the forum. I wanted it, but the price then was too high with the alum heads the owner was selling with it.

Congratulations on your purchase. What are your plans? It would probably be great with a 383, appropriate heads and cam.

Good Luck,
Fred
