Wrap a screwdriver with a shop rag or something to keep it from chipping the paint, then try to pry it up.

Simple,
Remove the louver and straighten it and put it back on, trying to bend it up while in place is sure to either break it or chip the paint surrounding it. Good Luck!

If that is the nose grill on a Firebird hood, there are 2 nuts for each. The top of the vent (towards the windshield) is tucked under a lip, the bottom has 2 speed nuts. Remove the nuts and pull it towards the nose, it comes right out.

Your info sounded so easy, soon as my car was in the shade, I went right out there and started removing the speed nuts, the one on the right side was easy as hell, took a 5/8 deep socket to it and it came right out.
The one on the left side?....hahahaha, It took 5/8's as well but the socket wouldn't fit thru the hole to get to the speed nut
That's when the dremel tool came in handy, it worked! Just shaved down the hole till the socket fit!
I must say that louver was wedged in there really good, chipped the paint a little, but it looks better than it did.
Thanx for the tips!
Now if I could get answers to all my other questions, I'd be doing great!
