polishing seat belts

do you guys think i could sand my seat belts to get scratches off and make them perfect? i polished with never dull and it made it look alot better.

I tried to polish mine with a belt sander but I ripped my seat belt in half I don't see how to polish them.

I think maybe you should give them a good cleaning, if they need it... But as far as polishing goes... I think you have too much free time on your hands.
