the old owner had some stickers put on and i dont know if i exactly like them
here is the first... bird on the hood
i just think it should be bigger, and it would be cool if it didn't glow in the dark :/

what is up with everyone calling it a chicken ??
my girlfriend said it looked like a flaming chicken, so now my car is refered to as the flaming chicken
i guess i will take it off on the next nice day i get
how should i do it with out recking the paint ?
i think it is just one of those stick on vynal ones tho, so it should just peel right off ?
also what does everyone think about one of those stripes with teh bird in it that goes up the bulge hood, that came on the 82-83ish birds ??
could anyone do a photoshop of what it would look like ? doesn't need to be a fancy one tho, just so i can get a idea of what it looks like

I agree with everyone else, but theres probably gonna be a mark left by the one on the hood. So personally i'd get a better looking screaming chicken to put on there. I actually like them on the hood, that one just looks really tacky tho.

the bird isnt that old, so i dont think it will have left that much of a impression
the lady that i bought it from had to sell the car quick cuz she needed money to pay her land lord, so he paid to have both the stickers put on so it would look more attractive and sell it faster
they have only been on for about 2 months, so i dotn think it would have left that much of a impression

Well take it off and see how you like it, I dont have any pics of the bigger birds on my puter but Im sure you can find one. I actually think the bigger more detailed ones look nice. That ones just a little cheezy looking to me.
I always called em screaming chickens, I've heard people call em fire chickens, fire birds (well it is on a firebird), there actually phoenix's as mentioned earlier...but that names no fun!

here is a picture of how it glows ... more reflective tho
i started taking it off, but wehre the reflective sticker is the top later came off , but hte bottom is still there so i dont know what to do to get it off, because nothing will take it off and i dont want to use anything to strip/wreck the paint

the bird would be tight if it were on a fourth gen where it belongs... on your third gen, it's got no reason for existing...

Get yourself a hairdryer, set it on high and peel away It should come off no problem with the glue still on the decal.

whoa chill! I am talking SOLELY about the bird design! Sorry if that wasn't crystal clear...
I owned a 78 TA, it had sailpanel birds, I know 3rd gens had em there too - I even added them to my first 4th gen - I'm not biased against any gen F-body!

P.S. I even kind of like the glow-in-the-dark... flame away
