Man, things like this make me want to scrap the daily driver idea and throw all sorts of money in the camaro....
Looks nice and that's one hell of a thirdgen, but all done to a car with a salvage title.........

Most "show" cars are salvage cars. Especially when you're dealing with something like a thirdgen... hell $2k in damage is enough to give most thirdgens a salvage title these days.

yeah if i could do it again i wouldn't have taken a low mileage straight car and did what i have....would have started with an actual cheap project and saved alot of money.
i like the car, give or take the wheels they fit the flashy paintjob anyhow....i think it looks good but the interior and motor is lacking definately for a true show car. still would love to see it in person and i'd like to know the details on the air ride as to what they did.
as far as my own....should be done soon, the back is done already but i haven't heard about the front yet. i would think you could get into the setup for under 2,000 if you were willing to do some or most of the installation yourself as well as you weren't worried about having the latest gadgets.
the strutbags are the most expensive part of the setup which won't be out until my car is done. at $1400 for the pair that really puts the cost up but without them you loose alot of your performance ride. you can go with a ride pro-e setup and just go with a basic 2 way system for really dirt cheap.
i'd say the basic level system for our cars could be no more then 7-800 but you would definately loose your performance ride and while they wouldn't necessarily be slow you couldn't have a fast raise and lower system. leave out the digital guages, fast valves, large air line, large compressors and tanks and it can all be very affordable.
go with every bell and whistle possible so that your ride is good, it's fast and you can do it by remote and figure on dropping $4,000+ without blinking.
before i forget....luckily enough the rear is the same setup they use on the 4thgen which is purchased alot so the cost has lowered greatly over the last year in that area. you can also save by not changing out your shocks/struts but then your ride will depend on the condition as well.
hal or qa1 as most call it charges $340 for the pair of rear 12 way adjustable billet shocks and currently you can only get the 12 way adjustable billet struts through ART (air ride technologies) but they aren't even for sale yet until the kit is finished off of mine. probably around 7-800 is what i was told for just the struts and then an additional 4-500 for the air modifications needed to have air ride.

I was refering to the fact he is now trying to sell it.....There is no point in doing all that to a salvage car then trying to sell it, as it's always hindered in the public view as being salvage....
I did the same for my car, I bought a bottom of the line Camaro RS (granted it had a V8)......because i pretty much knew I would be replacing everything so getting a Z28 would have been pointless.......

The air ride does look pretty sweet, but the car itself looks like it came from an episode of "Pimp My Ride."

There are two things wrong with that car
Wheels, Leopard print....
I see nothing else bad about it? It has a blower, look under the air cleaner really close.....you'll see it....
Throw some different wheels and get a black interior and that thing would be sweet....
