I have an '86 Berlinnetta that was repainted blue over the original red. They did a really poor job, it's peeling all over and looks bad. The door jams were done but the engine compartment is the original red. I really don't like red especially since it attacts cops like flies. Any opinions? return to stock, pick something that goes with the engine bay or what?
Would resale really matter with this car. It's one of ~4500 and was originally from Hawaii without the rear defrost. It lacks pw,pl, cruise but has air.
I had a thought of the original red with black highlights. Something like I seen on an Elcamino in the Summit catalog. Sorry, I don't have a scanner.
Also the (lt. blue) interior has a lot of stains and still smells of smoke despite a visit from the rug doctor. I was thinking of trying shout or something similiar. Am I about to commit a major mistake?
Feel free to rail on me if you think you have some good advice.
