Going through my photo album ...

I have a photo album of 35mm pictures that I never converted to digital, I was going through it and decided to snap some pictures with my girls digital camera. I didnt have any recent pictures of my Z28 on level ground after I finished the suspension, so here they are. The car has been down for a while with a blown trans, need to get moving on the manual swap. There's some pictures of my IROC-Z in here too, before we painted it and then after. Then some random pics. Sorry about the quality hehe. Just wanted to share these with everyone.

Z28 right after suspension install, slammed and supprisingly streetable w/ drop spindles

Z28 gonna play with ride height before alignment, also gonna check front geometry:

Z28 got it all set and aligned, also ghetto fab taillight mods

IROC-Z before paint, decided to go with a PPG green custom mix we named Gangreen

Here's the IROC-Z right after painting. Open garage @ 9PM baby!! Hahahah!!

Rear shot of the IROC-Z right after paint, got the lights back in and stuff

Here's a pic of my old truck!! That thing was fun!! But I sold it a long time ago...

Here's a recent picture of my B4C Camaro up on this one mountain road I love.

I'm running weight jacks front/rear w/ shorter springs and 2 inch drop spindles in the front. So its adjustable ride height but static while driving. Adjustability goes to almost stock height full lock up and resting on fenderwells full lock down (first pic was a little too low for a few streets around where I live hehe, went up like .5")

Shawn you're car is just inspiring. I've always loved looking at that thing. The stance is muy perfecto.

You should get some high-res shots by the beach at sunset for us to drool over.

Hey thanks guys! I really do want to get some new pics, soon as I get it road worthy again I'm gonna be taking it around the island to take pictures. I got 4-5 really cool spots for day and night shots, up in the mountain, on the beach, even a boat dock w/ city lights. And of course some burnouts hehehe!!!

Those taillights on the car are my ghetto fab set, first ones I tried to modify. For that set I painted over the ambers and 2/3rds of the reverse part then I knocked out the insides (except for mounting studs) and converted from regular bulbs to LED's mounted right against the plastic. I had these running sequential turn signals for a while using the bottom 6 squares of the taillight, but since then I've put it back to normal bulbs (which just float around inside the enclosure now LOL) to mess with LED's some more. My good set I'm modifying are clear in the center like the ones in Devians concept drawing except I'm still trying to figgure out how to clear the edges where its rounded, kinda hit a snag there, no ideas yet. I've used a total of 3 sets of taillights to make this one set, but still not complete. I'll post pics when they are completed, not sure how long thats gonna be, need to brainstorm some more.

Wow, I never saw that drawing before, tails look awesome in it

Yea, I'd say those pics of your car are pretty old :P How many years has it been now since the drop spindles have not been available?

Yeah Devians drawings are awesome. These pics from my album are about 1 year old. Speaking of drop spindles, I'll let you guys in on a secret. They might be available soon!! My 91Z28 is being put up this weekend for a T56 install, but before tranny work I'm going to be pulling the drop spindles and shipping them out to another TGO member. He will be working with a local manufacturer to have them produced again using my set as a mold. So hopefully everyone else who wants them will be able to buy them too and enjoy low ride height with good front geometry! Yay drop spindles!!

Sweet...drop spindles!

Is that coming about from the "drop spindle GP" in the other forum?

Well, it went from "lets have new drop spindles made" to "lets find someone with drop spindles to make a mold" and then it took some time to find a set already out there and someone that was willing to donate them to try and help our community. My momma taught me to share so I'm gonna be donating mine.
