Next week i am being donated a new car. in a late 80's base camaro.

What can i do with this body. gonna take a motor and tranny i have and install them in this car. This will make me having 4(3 that can drive soon) thirdgen's.

Plus, what would be a good idea to get from my junk 87 ws6 TA and install in this SC?

 

depends on what your taste is...obviously the sky is the limit......mine is a sc....

 

The first things of note are gonna be suspension, driveshaft, and rear axle.

Suspension in that SC is not going to be much of anything compared to your WS6. Same with the tires. IIRC, WS6 got wider tires like the IROC. Might be wrong.

Driveshaft depends, but I'd keep the old one in case you find a wobble in the steel one in the SC.

Rear gearing might be a problem. Depending on your RPO's you're looking at 2.73 or something. Not exactly what you want if you ever drag race the car.

I personally like the pontiac interior better so i think i'll have a camaro with a ta dash pad, nice mod eh?

 

the coolest sportcoupe ive seen is mw66nova's.

and it runs low 13's with a 305!

 

mine is a sport coupe, nothing wrong with that, and it has all the aftermarket goodies to be better then another version
