I got her back from the body shop tonight

After 2 grueling weeks of waiting patiently, I finally got to drive her home tonight. For those who didn't know, I was having a few body panels repainted including the whole front bumper/head light buckets, and the hood.,,etc

Turned out really nicely, I even installed a new set of front turn signals/driving lights and got rid of my old oxidized ones. I bought a new nose emblem from GM as well. Now I'm ready for a car show this coming Saturday

here's 3 teasers until the clear coat hardens enough to be able to wash her off real good

that is not a dent, what you're seeing is the reflection of the ceiling in the garage

and he didn't paint the air damn, there is a bit of dust from when he sanded the car all over the place, and from an angle it looks blue. dont worry I'm gonna wash her up real good tomorrow

Looks pretty good. Next time I get my car painted (which hopefully will be when a nice LS1 goes in), I'm gonna gut it and get it painted right with a metallic red.

single stage. just your normal color/clear paint job. He said that this color is really easy to spray compared to alot of other Camaro/Firebird colors he's painted

here's 2 more pics. I'm supposed to meet up with my photographer sometime soon to do another photo shoot. Probably won't be for another 2 weeks or so, but that's ok cuz I suck at taking pictures

Here's the quarter panel that was painted, and yes I know there's swirl marks from the buffer, I will fix it tomorrow or Friday

what are you wanting? to spray the blue seperately from the metallic flake? I think you would find that extremely difficult to make it turn out good

I think it's like $80/qt, not positive. Same company paint as we used on the IROC so it should be roughly around that are

Two stage paint is painting the color first, then laying the clear on later. If you got single stage, the clear is mixed in with the paint and shot all at once. I would personally prefer a 2 stage also.

Great color on the camaros. I would love a trans am that color. Just dont have any extra money to go out and buy one. This is my car fresh out of paint.

His car is a Z28 and he didn't change anything on it to make it look like it isn't. The 91-92 verts don't come with the high rise spoilers, they come with a modified "RS" spoiler (the piece on the deck lid has the 3rd brake light like the pre 90 cars have and the sides go down the side of the car to the door). What about the side skirts changed between the RS and Z28 models?

ALL '91 and '92 Camaros have the ground effects. All Z28's have the high rise spoiler EXCEPT convertibles. I own a real Z28, I assure you

The air dam isn't painted...In the first few pictures it looks that way because the car hadn't been washed yet and still had dust from being in the paint booth
