hey well i'm looking for a thirdgen and i think they all look great! For a camaro i would like and 89-90 IROC and then the 91-92 Z28's. I would pick a 91-92 GTA because of the sleek look. But i belive that it is true that stock for stock a camaro has about 5-10 more hp. It is because of pontiac's damn restrictive intake tubing. But if you put a cold air on both f-bodies then they should have the same hp.
Also i think it is kinda cool how at first glance when people see a 91-92 pontiac(trans am or formula,etc) they think it is a corvette!
And also there has to be some reson why SLP choose the firebird for a firehawk, and there should be a reason why camaros didn't come with a 3.8 turbo?:hail:

That's partially true now, the TA Ram Air is faster than the SS (Moto-trend did a road test) but costs more.

k heres my point of view.. My buddies 89 IROC's Interior is ****ty.. No backlit guages, Cheap looking interior etc.. etc.. My 86 Trans Am has great, Clean looking interior. You can tell the Camaro is a Ballsy hotrod, While Pontiac tried to make the Trans Am more of a luxury Hotrod.. and for whoever commented about rattles.. the Trans Am Has a ****LOAD more rattles than the Camaro. But I gotta tell ya, The name "Trans Am" just makes me tingle all over I'm a Trans Am Man for life .. Next stop 4th Gen!!!
