Sold the IROC...time for the SS

Well, I sold the IROC to a guy in Georgia for $7000. It had 106K miles at time of sale.

And here is what takes her place. A 2000 6-speed SS with T-tops/Monsoon/Center Mount Exhaust/Brand new tires and only 5700 miles.

That ss is sweet. How much did you pay for it? I think I would much rather have that ss. I don't like red cars(or yellow for that matter), but the car still looks good. I would have looked for a black or blue one.

Yeah, I seen that car on ebay also. I wanted it pretty bad. Only, it doesn't have T-tops.

Glad you sold it for what you asked for... sure was a sweet car. The SS looks nice too though.

I paid 20K for the SS plus 700 for new tires. With tax and title will come to about 23K total. You are right... the originality is gone and I know I'll miss that car. It was just time to move up. I've already gotten so much crap from friends for selling it. It was always the center of attention at carshows... well, most of the time. I just didn't trust it anymore. Now I can trust a warranty... ya know. I also have about 100 extra horsepower under my foot. As far as plans go... I doubt I'll do a lot to it. I'll probably add an SLP front grill... maybe the 2002 black insert on the hood and maybe add the Bilstein suspension. My intentions are to leave it stock. No loud exhaust, I just get into too much trouble. The LS1 is fast enough for me.
