Formula+B&M Mega shifter=???

Now I know the B&M Mega shifter is designed to fit in the camaro and firebirds with that certain console. I also know the formula console is shaped that is won't fit without modification. Has anyone on here retro fitted it to their formula console? I'd like to see he finished product if you have pictures. Thanks on advance...

It shouldn't say "formula", it should say "85-up Firebird models". On a Camaro console, the factory shift plate unscrews, and the B&M plate screws exactly in. We don't have a separate shift plate. Solution? We cut the console top to take the shift plate. Leave enough plastic around the edges to take screw holes. Drill the screw holes with a small drill and never ever overtighten the screws, since they're getting screwed into plastic. If I think of it when I go home I'll take a pic and put it up here. There's much more info on the Transmission/Drivetrain board, you might want to either ask over there, or do a search. You know, shifter, transmission, they kinda go together.
