I would stay with the factory bulge hood the formula's have but, I think that if I had to chose between the two I would probably go with the ram air 2 hood(don't like the look of the cowl hood on a pontiac(looks good on a camaro but not on a pontiac) just my 2 cents though.

Stay factory on the Formula. But if you have to get a new hood go Ram Air II, and I'll take your Formula hood. It would look good on my wife's 91 Bird!

I am so partial to the Stock Formula hood, I think it looks the best over anything else I have ever seen on our cars... I just like the lines...
THE Ram Air Hoods seem to be too thick in my opinion, I would probaby like the RA2 more, if it was shorter

I used to think the Ram Air II was cool until I saw it in person on a T/A. That hood looks horrible from the side. It is way too high. Plus it does not match the body lines if the ar whatsoever.

I personally do not like any of the 4thgen style hoods on thirdgens. Cowl hoods look great on Firebirds.
VFN makes an exact Formula hood replica in fiberglass.I am going with that one for my car.

Ram Air 1 is the best, second to the stock Bulge hood.

Zeph, Have you ever tried the ROH ZS wheel???
On topic:
I did a minor change to my hood by pinting the insert on the back of the cowel, It would probably depend on the color of your car wether or not it can be pulled off tho...
