rain gutter like things?
alright so those modling like things that go from the a pillar and up over the door window. what is the term for them, but more importantly how do i correctly remove them?

do you have a pic of them , are you talkin about vent visors, if they are , then you should have to apply some heat to them to get the sticky back to try and release.

no hes talkin about the drip rail not a visor ive never seen visors for 3rd gens less they ones thats chrome and mount w/ screws or whatever on inside cuz no were to stick visors on 3 gens less stick on to the top
its a lil metal piece that goes over window and down pillar proly only on hardtops and not ttops
i am not sure how thoose come off havent removed mine they may bolt on from inside somewere but i doubt it if they dont then i have no idea how thyed come of or go on

this is only like a lil 1/4 inch piece of metal runs down pilar and over top of window
i dont have pic or id post it so u can tell what hes talkin bout

You will also have to remove the plastic moulding that holds the side of the headliner in place to see the screws.

To remove the drip rails you need to carefully pry the weatherstripping out of the channel along the top and the front A-pillar; then remove the phillips-head screws and remove the channel itself. It's been a while, but I *think* the drip rail itself is held on with more screws.
They were only put on the hardtop cars, and sometime along the production run they were eliminated from the cars - my 84 Z28 had them, but my 89 Formula does not. Yet.

thanks for your help guys. the screws were under the weather striping i should have thought of that plah. now all i need is an lt1
