really REALLY dumb question...
Ok, this is probably the stupidest question ever to grace the boards but... :lala:
Where is the bright/dim switch on the firebirds? Ive had my 'bird for almost a year now and I cant find it for the life of me. I know it has to be somewhere, there are 4 wires coming out of my headlights, not 2.
I know this sounds really dumb, so Ill just bite the bullet and take all the flames this is bound to bring....
(moderators please have mercy and delete this as soon as i get an answer, thanks!)

The bright/dim switch for the headlights is part of the turn signal switch. Pull it toward the steering wheel and it will click and then release. Ths dimer switch aboave the headlight switch only does the inside lights.

You don't pull the column, just take the nuts off the bottom that hold it up (need to drop the under dash panels). The dimmer switch is mounted on top of the column towards the left along with the ignition switch. Just loosen the 2 screws holding the dimmer and slide it towards the steering wheel and retighten the screws. See if the switch works now, if not you'll need to replace it.
