Megashifter

ok, im taking my interior apart at the moment to redo seats, get a new center console, etc. My friend just bought a 90 blazer with a 327 in it and a bunch of other crap. it came with a megashifter in it and hes selling it to me for 5 bucks. it is the kind with the removeable plastic cover and whatnot. will this fit in my TA if i remove the plastic cover? its the same shifter as the 3rd gen ones, except that it has a cover, right? also, can anyone give me step by step on how to shift it. lastly, if it is possible to install, can someone copy or link me to the instrustions that come with a megashifter, im pretty sure this one doesnt come with any.

I think the way they mount is different. On my mega shifter there is like a 1-inch spacer that came with it. I think the actual handles are the same but the mounting is different like it you just mount it to the tranny tunnel it will sit very low!! I placed mine in without the spacer b4 and it sits really low. And the shift selector part actually looks like the stock Camaro one so that might be different too. Here is B&M replacement parts chart might beadle to get what you might need if any (below is link). Also you will need the B&M shift selector the one that mounts the the trans, possibly the cable too not sure if it was diferent form stock one.
