$350 bones for seat covers (read reupholster kits) is not bad at all IMO. I paid just over a grand for mine from Mr. Mikes - all leather and a great fit (ALL seats in the car done). Recovering is a great and cheap way to go if you can't find any aftermarket seats. Plus, it is a great time to do any mods to the foam, etc.

I looked at aftermarket seats and unless you are as skinny as a rail, or short (most new aftermarket seat rails make you lose 1" in headroom), they were not an option for a 6'5' 260# person like me.

Your selection will be limited. If you want really really cool and quality seats that will wear a long time, expect to pay a min of a grand a seat. The cheap knock-offs will wear fast, discolor in a year, and the backs have this nasty little tendency to bend/break. You get what you pay for!

ohh and what i have is a literally brand new condition pass side front and also complete rear setup/pair(four pieces) of cloth seats from a tan light beige 84 S/E, the rear set are the true split back design and are designed with brown cloth surround, very narrow style backs with lots of back wall carpet showing in between them, i need to find a new home for all the seats, trades or make offer if anyone wants, i need an LG4 radiator 82-85 and mechanical fan and shroud and also 82 84 factory 15" turbo cast or fin wheels too i dont need caps or covers, just bare wheels i need, also i need a pass side T/A fender too, help please

thanks

hi,
the reason PDM seats are soo expencive to buy are because they are the correct seats if ppl are making a K.I.T.T Knight Rider replica car. if you dont ever wanna make a replica or dont care about having stock get 4th gen seats and sell yours to some guy with a kitt car. 4th gens are way better!!!!
