What year heater box....

Engine: Custom Forged 355
Transmission: 700R4
Axle/Gears: 9" 4:11's Detroit Locker
What year heater box....

fits from a S-10, i heard that a non ac box from a s 10 fits into my iroc and all i need ot know is what year so i can order it from my shop and get this thing into my car so i can finish up my engine swap and clean everything up....

i may be wrong but i think any heater box from a s-10 needs to be cut up some.

damn, it has to be cut up....i guess ill order a new one from gm or ill call the junk yard to see if they ahve any ....

yeah when i was searching about a year ago on here it looks like s-10 ones needs some modding.

just buy a used one, and i dont think u can buy a new one anyway.

I don't know about where you live but around here all the junk yards have tons of NON-AC thirdgen's with heater boxes just waiting to be taken.

If you are correct you could make some money removing them and selling them here....

I had never even thought about that since my car originally didn't come with AC anyways.

It's a regional thing. I had to hunt for a long time to find a non defrost rear hatch for my car. I am getting it tinted in one piece and it looks so much better without hte defrost lines in the way. If you could get hte AC delete pully and a bunch of no AC heater boxes you could make TONs of money.

I just got a hatch from the boneyard on Saturday w/ the defrost lines and no brake light. I live in Montana though, so defrost is kind of needed for me. I also hated the third brake light setup that's on mine because all it does is rattle from my bass and annoy the hell out of me.
