Rocker emblem replacement... opinions?

I went through a car wash and my z28 rocker emblem cracked into 2 pieces...So i need new ones, my pass side is all bubbled up anyways. The emblems I have are the tri-color orange/red ones. Should I replace them with the same ones or get silver ones since I have silver GFX? Opinions are appreciated.

emblems

I just replaced all of mine to go with new paint job, and I decided to get silver to contrast with red paint. All of my emblems were red but did not stand out. Also, I could no longer get red rocker z28 anymore, so it worked out.

I like the red....if you're patient, I'm sure you can find'em.

BTW, I didn't realize that you couldn't buy 'em new anymore?

I did not realize that either..?? I have had a heck of a time trying to find some tri-color emblems on places like eBay. Silver ones are found anywhere but I liked the way the tri-colors looked on the silver. Any other ideas of where I can look to find the tri's at if in fact they are no longer produced?

I could not get silver z28 rocker emblems either! So I will either get the silver rear bumper ones and cut off the "bowtie" or maybe get some made out of aluminum fabricated by a machine shop.

Damn, I realized I was mistaken. I thought the red one for 82-84 was the tri-color.

I think normally the rocker emblems are the same color as the interior. Silver emblems for a grey interior, tri color red for red int. Gold for beige. Could be wrong. I always liked the red emblems myself.

Hawks and Third Gen Resource have the rocker emblems. They even have the new ones with the carbon fiber look.

For the ones that are still available, they're only about $17 from gmpartsdirect.com, plus shipping of course. I'm ordering my rear Z28 bumper emblem along with the 5.7 TPI one and i'm getting the rocker emblems from classic industries.
