gap in the lid of 4th gen console?

I just got my 4th gen console in the mail today and I was cleaning it up when I noticed that the console lid has a very noticeable gap at the hinge. It doesn’t look normal...

it looks fine open like that but in the pic where its shut it doesn't look right. not that much of the hinge should show when its shut, only the "hinge" part not the other metal should show.

armorall is great.

anyway, what can i do guys? it looks so wierd now that i know it's there.

i had to space the hinge (where it mounts to the console) about 1/8" to get the latch to work properly. what's up?

it's hard to tell in a picture, but is the hinge bent going into the lid? It appears as if it should be completely flat on both mounting surfaces.
