When I bought my Z28 vert (three weeks ago), I could not believe what I found under the rear seat. A rat nest! Fortunatelly, it was empty. Whew!
What's even worse, though, is the smell from the A/C vents. I am planning on ripping EVERYTHING out when I'll be installing new carpet.
And to top it off, the car is a moving ant hill! So many black ants! I can't get rid of them!!!!!!!

ugh I had ants in my 1st 3rd gen, an 87 2.8. It sat for a few months in the summer at a shop in a dirt lot, and when I pulled the carpet back to check the rot, it was just a solid moving mass of ants and eggs. Needless to say, I said SCREW IT and bought an 84 Z28 HO

I have no story to contribute, but as winter storage approaches for the first time for my 88 I'm wondering if there's anyway to make sure I don't have a story to contribute next spring....Seal the whole car in a giant plastic bag?

I was being sarcastic, but I actually do remember seeing ads for a giant inflatable bubble - it needed a blower running all the time to keep it inflated.... and yes, you're right, they'd chew through that too.... so what's the solution?

yes your right they do make bubbles, have no idea where to get one... I would love to own one. But for mice, Use traps i guess.. Theres really not much you can do. Even if you jacked the car up they still would have some way gettin in. Rem they need to stay warm so theyll do anythin to keep warmth

heres a pic of a bubble
