White face gauge installation
Ok, I bought my gauge overlays off of durangedesigns.com, and at the website they say to use the 1" squeegee to get all the water out from under the gauges. They sold it off the website, but I bought the gauges off a friend whose sellin his camaro. I was wondering what all you guys used to get the water out from under your gauges?

WTF... Get the water out from under the gauges!? that some outlandish shizzle. Use a glue pen or something and just stick it on there.
I will be geting some indiglo gauge overlays in the mail this week for my TA and I need to figure out how to get those on the gauge. instructions are not included...

Yeah, those gauges are supposed to act like those vinyl stickers taht people put on windows and stuff. I'm still trying to figure it out. Theyre also supposed to be removable.

yah seems like is like that removable window static cling tint....
if its like what im thinking then you only need a little spriz of water on the overlay lay it on and use your fingers then say a bank card or something to get the air bubbles out with.

Can you post some pictures of the gauges after you get them installed especially in the dark with the dash lights on . . . Im curious to see if these have the "Donut" in the middle of the speedo and tach like other ones do. I'm thinking about buying a set.

Wipe the guage with water and then dip the sticker in water right before you apply it. Then just put it on the guage and work the water out with your fingers or something (wash your hands) and blodt it with a towel. Once it is somewhat set heat it up with a hair dryer and try to get it perfect. Think of it like putting decals on a model car.. btw I have some of those in 91-92 115 mph if anyone wants em for $10 pm I bought them just to get the HVAC.

Oh, that reminds me, I have teh overlays for the HVAC, I was wondering how those went on, and how to get the little plastic ends off of the climate control switches.
