Outside door handles
Are the outside door handles from 1st gen s10's/blazers the same as 3rd gen camaros and firebirds?

No the mounting studs are closer together on our handles. You can grind your doors to fit the S10 handles but you also have to grind the handles because of clearance problems but i regret doing it. Im in the process of putting the stock ones back, having to reweld what i grinded off.
Also i suggest tapping the mounting studs on the new handles first because the little stamped nuts that come with them never get tight enough.

Thanks for the informative reply.I was asking because I sjust bought a 86 s10 blazer .It has chrome door handles that look like crap and was thinking of installing my black firebird door handles on the s10.But sounds like too much work so ill just look for s10 black door handles.
