SANDING THE PLASTIC PIECES
HEY PEEPS, I'm about done stripping the paint off of my car. Well, the steel panels anyway. Paint stripper rocks. Now my prob is, as for the plastic pieces, i feel hesitant to use stripper on that, yet, when I was sanding, I noticed that not only was I sanding the paint off, but also the plastic itself. How can i do a proper level job without ruining the plastic?

Re: SANDING THE PLASTIC PIECES
OK, thanks, that helped me a lot, I managed to strip most of it yesterday without damage anyways. I was using heavy grid paper at first...220. The reason i was using grit that was so low is because I have 6 coats of paint on the damn car that has paint chips here and there. Impossible to shave all that off using 320 grit. So most of the plastic at this point is bare and very smooth. Almost too smooth. But anyone know what is a good primer for this type of plastic?

Re: SANDING THE PLASTIC PIECES
They make a flexible primer, or is it an additive that makes the paint flexible, I can't remeber, but you need paint that is flexible..
