Ground Effects
I have a 84 Trans Am but im not sure if i have the aero package ground effects or normal package. Whats the difference so i can tell becuase i need to replace the front and rear effects

as far as I know ground effects/ aero pacage is the same thing they only vary by year. you have the first of 3 styles.

The 84 Aero Package goes along the entire perimeter of the car. It looks like the 85 and up, only not as tall. For 82 and 83, there were trim pieces that were only a small section in front of the wheels rather than full length. I'm not sure if those were still available in 84.

It was my understanding that that the aero package became available in '83 and was standard T/A issue in '84. '82 and most '83's (from what I've seen) had the little wheel "spats".

Axle/Gears: 373's in T/A .. vette unknown

nah on 84 the aero package wasn't standard ... base 84 T/A's had the same stuff like the 82's had.
