Evoluzione Winter Update

Well, the car has seen some attention lately. I gutted the wiring. Not a single wire left in the whole car, and I have to crank down on the Ron Francis wiring kit. Unfortunately, some of hte plugs it has were removed with the dash and the wiring looms i took out. So i need to find a way to fix that.

The hood hinges were sanded down to clear the front clip and mounted, and the front end is now mounted, but i still need to tweak it a little to line up the headlights right.

I shattered the rear glass...replaced it, and got the struts on so we know have self supporting glass, and the hatch is getting cut and molded to facilitate a third brake light.

I have one side of tail light holes cut out, and I'm going to cut the others tonight. Then I will make brackets so that the lights recess in to the body about 1/2" to 3/4". The pics below just show the placement, the lights are just sitting by friction in the holes.

Plan of attack:

Finish the back end, wire everything up, finish the widebody front end, then mount the hood, sand and prep everything..off to paint!

Very nice, those tail lights work very nicely with the car.

Those tail lights look great. I think you are hiding the back-up lights in the lower vents. Are you going to run any rear side markers?

...I'll take the opportunity as a lame excuse to post my set-up.

i would put center mounted exhaust pipes like the corvette and slp 4th gens, and run the reverse lights like acclr8n, on the sides of the license plate spot. acclr8n how are you going to open the back hatch with your wing overlapping like that?

Motorized it. It moves backward about 7" so hatch can go up.

Re: Evoluzione Winter Update

we are going to do older style corvette back ups like acclr8n. pipes are prolly gonna be two pipes, centered, and then there will be electronic cut outs that come out in front of the rear wheels, in the rockers like the new vipers.
