How can I fix this hood bend?

I picked up my used hood today and the guy said it had 2 places on it. One dent will be fairly easy to do, no problem. The 2nd however is a little different. The front corner on the driver side is slightly bent down as if the car was hit up front on that side. The bend is not that bad... the pic was taken at a more slight angle that makes it look bad. What can I do? Rubber hammer and wood or body shop? At least its off the car and not painted yet.

I would just bend it back up untill the lip is flat again, and if you have a kink, or dent there after that scuff it with 40-50 grit and put some filler on it.

In my build thread (link in my signature) my hood had a few nice dents on it at the front, I popped em out as much a possible and used tiger hair filler. I dont even think twice about it.

Just my 2 cents. I dont do bodyshops. I like to do everything myself.

Get it as close as you can to the contour it should be then if needed apply a thin layer of filler

Re: How can I fix this hood bend?

my hood was kind of warped when i got it. i actually instaled the hood and put pieces of wook on to of the fenders, shock tower, plenum, any where that i had to to push and pull the hood back to fairly straight.
