How do you fix a bent door?
The previous owner musta his something and it left the passenger door bent. It's not sagging but rather its about 1/2 inch or so from being flush with the body at the top of the door. Can I roll this in or is it a shop deal?

Can you take a picture? I won't lie, I'm probably not going to be able to help you much, but even if I could it's really not something you can do without pics.
Something I really need to learn how to do, but at least professionally to fix a dent you have to "read it" if I remeber right, I body guy told me you go from the last part towards the inital impact. But if say a baseball hit it, you could beat it out from the inside or pull it out.

Re: How do you fix a bent door?
look at the lower door hinge and where the door lines up with the front quarter. since all that is on the latch side is one pin it has to be missalinged at the hinges. bottom hinge out more would pull the top in. after you get the door lined up you may need to adjust the front quarter panel to bring it all lined up.
also check the piller that the hinges attach to maybe pushed in some.

Re: How do you fix a bent door?
Throw a block of wood ... padded with a towel if you want, in between the bottom of the door and the rocker panel. Then push on the top rear of the door. Make sure you don't dent where you push. It's hard to say what caused it. And it's hard to say what you may need to adjust after you get it to line up ... like the window maybe. And unfortunately it is possible to do damage fixing it... so go easy.
