Any paint strippers that will not harm plastic?
I should know this myself, working in a bodyshop and whatnot, but I've only used paint strippers on metal and they always warn against using on plastic, such as bumper covers and moldings and stuff. My 87 Trans Am had a quickie paint job done before I bought it (so it would look good for a sucker like me ) and now I see that there was little prep work done, so they didn't take the time to sand it and now all the paint is peeling off, and I want to repaint it properly. I'm sure paint stripper will be the fastest option to get rid of all the offending peeling paint, but I want to know if there's anything I can use that would be safe on my bumper covers and stuff so I won't have to sand it all off of them and I can save a lot of time. If not, then it's not like I'm not used to it.

Autozone and other parts stores should sell a plastic paint stripper.

Alright thanks. I'll keep an eye out for it, and repost to let everyone know if it works or not. (I have my doubts. )
