my 90 RS with T tops is original from cali and its got some major rust in the t tops i found a car no motor or trans for 125 bucks with pristine t top roof i bought the car and am now wondering what the best way to swap the t top roofs would be? factory spot welds or just cut it at the bottom or top of the a and b pillers thanks

Re: T Tops
This has been covered again and again. Have you done a search? It is ALOT of work and if you dont brace the car correctly before cutting you may end up with alot of problems.
Here is the link to someone who did the work and documented the results...

Re: T Tops
Its the exact same proceedure with no additional supports....Going from hardtop to T-Top is the same as totally cutting off a T-Top and replacing it with another T-Top roof.
