A few more updates i needed to get it out of the garage for my friend to get in so here it is for now till I can get more por 15 and back in. On the plus side I got the center console back in with ALL the required screws.

Another update interior is mostly in got the door locks fixed and the window tracks lubed. The exhaust is on and the aluminum drive shaft is in. Just need to get a few more items in the interior but it feels good to drive it around.

Replaced Summit Headers with Hooker 2460s
Added custom Y pipe
Patriot 2151 Vortec heads 185CC
MSD 6A
Blaster SS coil
Edelbrock 7116 Vortec Manifold
Spec Stage 1 Clutch
3" Open element filter
Rewired headlights with 10awg wire.
Converted Gauges to Blue

just a quick question, that msd blaster ss coil, is it ok to run it with an factory distributor and 7mm wires?

yea I did a lil more reading on the msd coils and apparently some of em don't last too long and that factory coil is good up to 3-400 horses but thanks for the reply beautiful engine btw

Yea the stock HEI is a good system. I went MSD because my car came with their distributor and I got an awesome deal on the box $50 for the 6A and the coil.

As for longevity I have never had an issue with an accel or MSD coil failing.

Get what you want for NA builds like ours I doubt there is much difference.

Removed my 10K inline resistor and added a tach adapter. Now my tach does not go nutz over 5k rpm
