How bad is it you think?
Hey Guys and Gals. The PO of my 1991 fbird got into a front end collision. The damage is obvious but not bad as it occured at low speed. My question is based on the pics below How bad do you think it is? Do you think I need new supports or just a new nose and hood. The old hood apparently got swapped out for this junk one. I would love to just be able to bolt on new parts and get painted but thought I'd ask. All opinions are welcome. Thanks

Thats not that bad at all. New hood (replace the junk one), new nose (if that one cant be repaired), and adjusting of the fender and paint and all will be well in the universe.

Cool man thanks. I am going to replace the nose and get a cowl hood from a TA. Where might be a good place to get the hood? Junkyards are scarce with these cars around here. I already found a place with the nose so I'm good there.

Oh I forgot to mention that the PO also used the fenders as jack points (see pics). Is this simply a matter of unbolting the fenders and fixing them or are the supports messed up too?

The fenders may need the supports knocked back into shape, but shouldnt be too bad. For parts, Id check the classified on here, theres always something usefull up for sale.

The PO on my car also used the fenders as jack points on mines. I used a crowbar and a hammer and jsut flattened it back out to where it should have been. GL with fixing your car. Doesnt look bad at all from the pics.
