New Body Panels ...

I was installing a box in a friends 85 Camaro and noticed the rear interior panels didn't line up. She said they were from an 87. Is thier a difference between the rear interior panels in 85 and 87 ??

As far as I know, there isn't. Was her car smacked up in the rear? That could cause the panels not to line up (mine don't).

Or, was the '87 smacked up, and sitting in the sun? The extra stress & heat could've re-bent the rear panels.

The rear panels sometimes don't line up perfectly, but 82-92 were all the same, save for some minor details like a cargo light, or the provisions for the rear shade. They are all interchangable.

Her car has been slammed pretty bad in the rear before, but has been repaird since then. Also i was looking at them one year used square connectors and the other round, everyone knows you can put a square object in a round hole.
