Airbag Steering Wheel on 85 IROC

Ok, I have an 85 IROC. I wat to purchace a steering wheel of a 90-92 Airbag equipped Camaro, just because i like the look more than my current wheel or other aftermarket wheels. I know that the airbag will not function at all (due to lack of sensors, wiring, and i'll leave it unhooked) but will it bolt up to my current steering column ???

I noticed you don't have an e-mail address, otherwise I'd e-mail you. I have a spare '92 Z28 wheel with airbag. If interested, let me know.

I like the air bag wheel a lot better, so there is a second time for ya Jim. If I had to buy a non air bag one I was gonna toss that thing out the window as soon as I could....

Amorget, I think the base camaro wheel looks horrible, but I've never seen somebody prefer that horrible bulky airbag wheel over the Z28 wheel. Either way, an aftermarket wheel will probably cost you a whole lot less, and I can't possibly imagine not finding an aftermarket wheel that you prefer.

I put the thicker GTA wheel on my car after the thin original wheel's leather rotted out and would ooze brown goo when it got hot. All I need to do now is get some leather dye and dye it black, and slightly mod the Camaro horn button to fit.
