Replacement factory Driving lights

I was thinking of replacing my driving lights ..... ones cracked.

The best price I've seen on ebay is $310.00 new including shipping ... they must still make them as there are plenty out there ? is that the best price ?

Re: Replacement factory Driving lights

I don't know the size of the lights on the Camaros, but if they are similar to those on the Trans Ams, these are what I bought for mine:

http://www.harborfreight.com/clear-l...hts-37349.html

They fit very well and are ridiculously cheap - especially with an additional 20% off coupon. I ended up throwing a set of projectors in mine with HID bulbs, so the clear lens was a nice plus.

Hope that helps.

The Trans am lights are different than the Iroc lights. Just keep an eye on feebay. Nice used sets come up fairly frequently

Re: Replacement factory Driving lights

If he needs the fog lights (fog vs driving nomenclature) it looks like the ones I posted may work. I read one of the reviews on Harbor Freight's website and the guy said he used them as fog lights on his IROC. Not saying they are exactly the same design, but maybe if the lens size is similar enough, he could just swap the glass out.

If anyone has dimensions, it could be easily verified, as I have several sets at home. I tried looking and I found a lot of people switching to aftermarket lights, it seems.

Re: Replacement factory Driving lights

If you're looking for an original piece then ebay would be best. If you're looking for function (and a better product in most cases) there are plenty of aftermarket driving lights that can be put in the same spot.

If you can make your own brackets you can make many aftermarket lamps work but if you want bolt-in plug and play, stick with the OE lamps.

Re: Replacement factory Driving lights

Thank's for the replys and ideas everybody.... The car is all stock so I'll go with originals.... The price is like their new old stock @ 309.00 and higher for a set. The turn signals aren't bad at like 100.00 a set.
I think they must still be making them as there is no shortage on ebay... does anybody know ?

Re: Replacement factory Driving lights

They are still making the fog lights and parking lights as well as other parts. Check with authorized gm parts dealers online. (GM Parts Online) - (Gm Parts Direct)
