Windshield Replacement
Mine basically looks like it has been sand blasted.
Whats a new windshield, installed, going for these days?
Anyone I should go with/stay away from?
Budgeting on my repairs/replacements.....i'm full throttle back into this project now!!

Re: Windshield Replacement
You can get one from a Windshield Wholesale place installed for around $180-200.
I had a 2014 Acura TL SHAWD windshield replaced with Pilkington Glass, one of the best glass maufactures around, for $210.
Get the new surround for it; there's 2 sizes, you want the smaller of the two. I can't remember the size though.

Re: Windshield Replacement
Just scheduled one with Safelite Auto Glass.
$263 installed at my house.
They are coming out this Friday, we will see how it goes.
BTW, got a second quite for $265 so probably in that range.

Re: Windshield Replacement
I know every state is different. In Arizona Automotive insurers offer glass replacement for just a few dollars more per month. Lots of rocks out here and it's common to need to replace glass. For the three cars I think I pay $20 more per year total. Find out if your insurer has anything like that. I had two windshields replaced via insurance last year. Didn't have to pay any deductible and my premium/rates didn't go up.

When my convertible was repainted the windshield was replaced at the body shop and it cost $300
