1984 T/A W62 Trim Color - Silver Color Code
My 84 T/A is in the body shop being repainted. The body has been sprayed in the original Medium Dark Royal Blue metallic.
We are trying to determine the color code used for the silver Ground Effects.
My SPID sheet indicates Med. Dk. Royal Blue. Met for both the upper and lower body (this is consistent as the body was blue behind the gfx).
Does anyone know the code for the silver paint used on the gfx?

What's the code on your SPID, or the stamped tag in your engine bay?

They used to have the 4 digit represent both colors. The first half was main body, second two numbers were accent. (or vice-versa). Then for a while, you actually got the accent color on the SPID with an A-code. Now, it's a crapshoot.
Here's the PPG books of old. There looks like several colors it could be. Your paint supplier should have chips of those possible numbers, if they're cool...you should be able to borrow them and see what you actually have.
