Well I have the off white model with the silver GFX and i was going to just repaint the whole GFX and wanted to pick up the closest color spray paint I could find. Any suggestions I know perhaps there is a color code but my glove box lid is off a diffrent car so no code there. but perhaps I need more of a color of spray paint i should use.

When you state the color of your '84 is off white could it be beige?If you look on the top center of the radiator support you'll find a trim tag.On the second line the first code(2 numbers and a letter)is the interior color code/type,the second and third series of codes are for exterior color.For '84 I only see code 11 white and code 59 beige(only available in '83 and '84).And I've never seen a beige car with silver GFX.I'm not saying there weren't made just the only ones,including mine,have gold GFX and wheels.Also the trim tag doesn't show GFX color on the trim tag(at least in '82 & '83).

I've got a white '84 with the silver gfx and the silver paint code is not on the SPID label nor on the build sheet. But when I repainted the car I did some research and found a silver accent color for 1984 Chevrolet Camaro deep in a paint book at a dealership where I had the car painted. The code is #7448 DuPont. We shot the gfx that color and it's dead nuts on!! I don't know if this is available in a spray can though.
