C5 brake hubs

C5 brake hubs
Do C5 brakes have a one-piece sealed hub?
I'm getting things ready for my C5 brake upgrade. I'm going to use Rondell R58 wheels and wonder about the center cap clearing the grease cap on the hub. I'm sure it won't on a stock hub, but am pretty sure it will if the C5's have sealed hubs.

C5s do have a one piece sealed hub. But how do you plan on mounting them to your spindles? There a few places making custom spindles that use C5 hubs on older cars but I know for the G-Bodies they are about $695 a set and you need other items also to make them work.

C5 hubs won't bolt onto our spindles, totally different design.. you have to use a bearing mounted hub.

You can modify your stock camaro hub/rotors. have the rotor machined off and its a hub. the C5 rotors mount to that. I'll post a link later that should help you a lot.

A link to a very informative site regarding the C5 swap. standard C6 are the same, calipers are just a different casting.
