manual brake conversion, who's done it?
Hey everyone, I was looking to switch to manual brakes on the 91. I was just wondering if anyone has done the swap and what kit/parts they used. The Ed Quay is the only real kit i've found for third gens, but if there is a better/more cost effective one out there, i'd be willing to go with that. Thanks

Re: manual brake conversion, who's done it?
I used the ed quay kit the only thing I did not like is the fact that thay sent it with an 1 1/16'' bore and no directions. After some resarch on strange web site I found out that the bigger bore master is better for 4 piston callipers front and rear and a 1'' is sugested for 4 piston rear and 1-2 front piston count. you will have to relocate the brake rod higher also. There is one other company that makes a kit simullar to eds and is cheaper. Ps. I have some info in drag racing section under brakes come in..

Ross,
Who makes the other kit. I know that Ed's kit comes with the wrong master. I have my Strange 1" master and just about reay to change over.
