Master cyl/fire wall brace?

I did some searching and had no luck finding any parts or info.

Dose any one know of a supplier for these braces?

The master cyl/booster assembly on my car moves a lot under normal use and a brace would be a huge improvement.

Re: Master cyl/fire wall brace?

Bolts loose behind firewall??
Cracked firewall around booster mount??

If not, would be easy to fab up a brace if needed.
Did car have one originally??
Compare similar car.

Re: Master cyl/fire wall brace?

Nope everythings tight and in one piece.

I can do it my self ofcourse but if somone else has done the work allready or has a better design then I'd go that route.

Hopefully when I install new struts/shocks and remove the stupid blocks from the rear springs the car will ride better and stop shuddering and flexing so much.

It's not just the master cyl moving and proabably affecting pedal feel the whole car just feels like it's about to fall apart.

I never realised just how solid my mazda was untill I bought this car lol.

These cars are not ment to ride smoth in any sense.
Make sure you bolts are tight, and also that your bolt holes aren't oblong.
Something seems to be not tight or worn out.

If you have someone in the car and hit the brakes does the booster move?
What makes you think the booster is moving?

Well I'm sure that it'll ride much better when I remove the spring blocks somone used to lock half of each rear spring together.

I know the booster is moving because i had the hood up when backing up the ramps to check out the rear end. The tip of the MC moves up about a half inch before the brakes will lock up.
