Car: 2009 Silverado 1500
Engine: 5.3 Vortec
Transmission: 4L60E
E brake

I installed new rear calipers and new e brake cables except for the front cables. the cable up front does not go into where it shoul don the ebrake handle, it's a few inches too far ahead, would adjusting the free travel fix this or do I need a new cable? please help
