PBR Rear Pad Noise
Around a year and a half or so ago I rebuilt a 10 bolt with PBR's and put it on my car. The calipers were totally new as were lines, e brakes, etc. I put Napa United Ceramic pads on it as well as some Napa cross drilled and slotted rotors. There was a lot of noise when I first installed them (while not braking) and I adjusted the e brake and it went away. It has since been creeping back more and more seemingly every day. Have put about 10k on the set up.
There is a dragging sound while driving with no brake (not grinding or squeaking), it softens but does not go away if the brake or e brake is applied.
Is there a better pad out there that does not make as much noise? These were some expensive pads but there is no shim or anything on them. They brake just fine, but annoy the crap out of me. I'd mainly be looking for a nice ceramic pad with a permanent shim on the back that works well with my set up.

Re: PBR Rear Pad Noise
i've never used ceramic pads but i do know that the harder the friction material is, the noisier they will be. i always use the duralast pads from autozone. when the pads where out they will replace them for free. i don't anyone else that does that. and they are good pads too.
