Brake line adapter for Wildwood Master cylinder???
Hi, I looked for the answer to this question but could not find any. I am thinking of converting the master cylinder on my 1987 formula to a Wildwood cylinder. The brake line fittings on the 3rd gen are unique and are not compatible with most if not all aftermarket master cylinders. I really don't to go through the trouble of flaring new lines. Has anyone found an adapter to convert the 3rd gen fitting to one more common.
Thanks,
Louis

Don’t have an exact solution for you but can provide some related information that may be helpful.
If you buy the Wilwood kit that comes with a proportioning valve you can get adapters to connect the brake lines to the proportioning valve. You can see what I did at the post link below. I have fitting part numbers in this post as well:

Hi Battperson....
This is just what I was looking for. Thank you for taking the time to reply. One last question, what is the part number of the master cylinder?
Also, if you did not know, they now make a RH bracket and lines. Wildwood part Prod #: 260-15048
Thanks
Louis

Thanks again. I know how you feel. No matter how you try, that cards are against you. Wash and wax your car and before you can get it back in the garage, it pours. Drop a wrench whilst working on the engine. It falls under the car mathematically exactly in the center, where you cant reach it. Paint a piece of trim that you have painstakingly prepared and as soon as you turn your back, a large bug falls on it and does the swan dance.
This is all called Murphy's law. Hate that guy.
BTW, I just noticed your blueprints. As a thank you to you, I just ordered one for a 86 firebird, close enough to my 87.
