Brake light always On, and shot caliper
Hi everybody
Restoring a 1983 Recaro T/A WS6 in Europe is a difficult job, we don't know these cars much, and I have two problems that separate my car from the road.
-I'm looking for a new right-rear caliper. Four new ones have been mounted but this one is leaking. And I can't see any AC DELCO available. Only Nugeon refurbished at Rockauto, but I don't trust this brand.
-The on-dash brake light remains On Despite 90% of my brakes are new. Is there any hardware to change ? Sensor ? Proportioning valve ?
With these troubles, no chance I get the Euro technical approvement to drive my Recaro. Too bad !
Thanks for help !

Your not gonna find an AC Delco for that caliper. Nugeon is your only option. Or you can rebuild your caliper with new seals. As for the brake light there should be a sensor on the proportioning valve. That might be bad or you have some air in the system still. Or this could be on because the parking brake switch is activated or stuck at the ebrake handle. This light is for both ebrake and brake warning light.

Thanks for that providential help !
Ok, let's go for Nugeon, the caliper leaks at the bleeder screw, so I'm afraid the core is shot.
About the proportioning valve, I only found this : https://www.hawksmotorsports.com/198...reconditioned/
Or maybe that : https://www.summitracing.com/parts/s...bird/year/1983
Any advice welcome
