I have a 91 Z28 rolling body/chassis for sale. It's a coupe, 5.7L TPI with Big Mouth intake and runners/AT/AC/PDB/PW/G92/ car located in the Mpls/St. Paul area of Minnesota. I purchased this car out of Woodland Hills, California. The body is rust free except an area around the windshield. This car is roadworthy but would need a lot of TLC, the front buckets are in poor shape, no headliner, minor dents in the body but has the tall F40 style spoiler. The market has bottomed out on these cars so I'm pulling the engine, transmission, radiator, bucket seats and offering the body for sale for $950.00/BRO. I have pictures available. The build sheet is there but in little pieces and I can provide an RPO list from the center console if interested.

If you are pulling the engine, I would be interested in a clean speed density wiring harness including underdash wiring, fuse block and computer. Quote an amount if you are interested.

Thanks for the inquiry about the speed density wiring, etc. Unfortunately I'll need all of that to transplant the engine into my Nova.

do u still have the car,how good is the body around the windsheid, is their holes or surface and how bad are the dents?

Hi Jason,

I do have the car although I haven't removed those items yet. The rust around the windshield is mostly surface, with two small holes that could be welded. All of the areas in question should be easily repaired.

I just learned that there weren't many '91 5.7 TPI coupes built, so I'm taking this one off of the market for awhile until I decide if I really want to sell it. Thanks for the consideration.

there were alot... just not as many as the base rs models. $950 for a rust free floor and quarters is a decent base price for a roller.

Thanks Kandied91z. From what I picked up this weekend there were about 750 - 1991 Z28 coupes produced with the 5.7L TPI. I'm not sure if the G92 option makes it any rarer. And after consulting my friends who collect more rare cars this one is not worth keeping. I'd like to get the garage space back so it has to go down the road. With the exception of some rust around the windshield channel this is a rust free car.

It's not all that rare I guess...but when you consider that over 100,838 Camaros were built, 12,452 were Z28's and of those about 747 - Z28's (6 percent of Z's) were coupes. It'll probably never be worth what a 340 'Cuda will be, but how many relatively rust free Z28 coupes are alive...at least in Minnesota...a winter salty wonderland? And besides, Z28's are nicer looking than Cudas.

Well, it's here if somebody wants it.
