1992 Z28 LT1

I'm selling my baby to make room for my new G8. This is the car featured on the sites sample of pics for 1992 Camaros. I also have some pics in my virtual garage on here. I've done too many things to list. But if needed Im sure I could email a list of everything done to it. Over 10k invested. No a/c no heat, no radio, no speakers, ALL BUSINESS !! But it does still have full leather interior no rips and power seats and locks and windows all work.

Make Offers please for a clean car !!

Thanks.

Re: 1992 Z28 LT1

How about giving a price to start with instead of playing the guessing game.

Re: 1992 Z28 LT1

If you are seriously interested PM me. If otherwise, I dont have time to read posts about how I should sell my car. I mean, I'am not trying to be a @$$hole. But I'am testing the waters and if I get a respectable offer I will sell. I dont like to put the price out there because all I get then is a bunch of people posting who arent buyers. If anybody is interested, PM me and we can talk about how much I want to get, and maybe meet somewhere in the middle.

Re: 1992 Z28 LT1

Alright guys sorry for breaking the rules. I just wanted to get some offers but In the end I'am looking to get somewhere close to $7k. The body is straight, no rust, new suspension, Kuhmo ecsta tires have 80% tread left, breaks are new along with all new break lines and booster, LT1 & 4L60 has only 35k miles on it. More than 10k invested in it. I bought the car back in 2002 for 5k. It is a Florida car I'am the 3rd owner first owner was a woman and second owner was a local speed shop in orlando. Body has 145k but most everything is new except interior. Includes a new dash pad with no cracks. So I would like to get $7k for it, I will accept offers. If you would like to PM me with an offer or more pics, feel free to do so. I'am located in Jacksonville Florida, about 1 1/2 hours outside of orlando. Obviously pick-up is prefered, but we can arrange to meet halfway or I can arrange for a delivery.

Re: 1992 Z28 LT1

The pics are absolute crap, taken with a cell phone. But you pretty much get the idea. I will take some pics with a new digital camera this weekend and will the give the car some more credit. But for now you have a good idea of what the car looks like.

As I stated before in this thread ! It has 35k on the motor and tranny. Hedman mid-length headers and a dyno max full 3" exhaust no cats, with turndowns.
Flashed ECM with more agressive timing and fuel curve. EGR delete and deleted out of ECM, shift kit. MSD ignition, RK sport CAI, spohn bushings and sway bars. 245 Kuhmo Ecstas 80% tread life, Custom balanced aluminum driveshaft. custom engine mounts. New fuel lines, Holley Dominator fuel pump, new fuel tank. Theres alot more minor things to list but I'd have to look at my build sheet to remember them all. I'll post some more pics but I have to take more first. Water pump and Opti-Spark have only 500 miles on them.

Be careful with this guy gentlemen... I'm still waiting on flex ducts from an 84 HO air breather that were promised 5 months ago...

Re: 1992 Z28 LT1

I would appreciate it if you wouldnt try to mess up my sale. Your experience with me was for the sale of a H.O. breather not a car. I told you I would send them to you if I come across some flex ducts, I gave you a great deal on a rare item. I refunded you some money and you decided to leave me bad feedback on the sale. Thats it period, that transaction has nothing to do with the sale of my car, if you post on here again trying to deter people from buying my car because of a previous sale I will report you. You left me negative feedback on that sale, it END's THERE. PERIOD. You dont go around looking for someones posts and look and see if they're selling something and try to screw it up for them. That shows no class and total misuse of the site. Theres a thing called PM, if you have something to say to me PM me. You havent been in contact with me for months. I've only done two transactions on here and one positive and yours negative. I'am an honest person on ebay I have 100% positive feed back "duvaljags92" thats my name on there look it up. If somebody wants to look at what I've sold on here they can view my itrader rating. If you have nothing better to do than look for my stuff for sale and go around bad-mouthing me, go ahead. This will be reported if you do it again. If you have a problem with me PM me, this thread is about me selling my Camaro, a car I love and unfortunately need to sell. Don't try to mess that up for me settle it with me privately.

Re: 1992 Z28 LT1

Is tha a Caprice LT-1???? That is the intake track from a Caprice right? so is it a 4.3 V8 or the 5.7, eather way it is a low compresion engine thats rated way lower than a Camaro, Corvett or Firebird....yes it is still a LT-1 but be clear about what you got. Just putting out info for the ones that dont know.

Re: 1992 Z28 LT1

Its from a 1996 Trans Am.

You are speaking of the factory rating of the Impala SS of 260 whereas the 96-97 F-bodies made 285 and the earlier 94-95 275. Im not sure if the F-bodies all had aluminum heads or not but the Vette motor is different than all other D and F bodied LT1's. The Vette LT1 had special high flow aluminum heads factory rated at 300hp 93-96 and the 96 had 10lbft + of torque at 340

The Impy was deffinately underrated at 260, it has iron heads. I'am pretty sure the Impy had the same CR as the F-bodies.

That cover on the engine is just that, a cover. It looks trick, and gives it an oem look. I was gonna put the vette fuel rail covers on but I got the Impy one free.
