This is a very nice 1989 Chevy IROC-Z Hard Top Camaro that I have owned for the past four years. It has 127,000 miles. Engine has less than 500 miles.
I have just rebuilt the complete engine. It's the factory 5.7L (350) TPI engine that has been bored .40 over. It has new "balanced" Eagle Crank and Rods with Keith Black Hypereutectic Pistons. It has an Lingenfelter #74216 (213/219 .493/.502 HR112) Cam, with Comp Cams 1.6-1 Roller Rockers, Comp Cams Hardened Pushrods, and Guides. Comp Cams Double Roller Timing Chain. ARP Rod & Head Bolts. It has Edelbrock Headers with JetHot "Sterling Silver" Ceramic Coating. Flowmaster Exhaust. Has the MSD 6A Ignition Box with the MSD Blaster Coil. Blue Top 24lbs Injectors, new fuel filter and a new fuel pump. Has K&N Airfilters with Throttlebody Air Foil. Just installed 100amp Rebuilt Alternator. Starter was taken apart, cleaned, greased and installed new brushes. Duralast Gold 8 Year Battery. Has new Motor and Transmission Mounts. The Transmission is a 700R4 that has a Good Solid Shift. Installed New Front Pump Seal while installing engine. Has Eibach lowering springs. Matching set of tires (at least 50% or better, "Z rated").
Have upgraded to the 4th Gen. Camaro seats. Much nicer and more comfortable than the originals.
Had the factory IROC-Z wheels professionally refinished, they look better than new ! ! !
Car has A/C (needs to be charged), Power Door Locks, Power Trunk, Tilt, Cruise, No Power Windows.
Only bad thing I can say about the car is the clear coat has started to peel on the top of the rear hatch and quarter. Cannot see that any damage has ever happen to it, just the clear is peeling. Have seen no rust on the car, Texas Car ! ! !

I'm not wanting to trade right now, but list some photos if you can.
I sold my car last month to another board member. He arranged a transport company to take the vehicle to him. They arrived on Sept 26, 2009 and took possession of the car. We have not heard from the driver since that day. The company that arranged the pickup has not been able to contact the driver either.
The car was picked up just north of Dallas, Tx. going to Plentywood, MT.
Was told it would take 7-10 day to get there.
Any info would be helpful.
Thanks!

Dude, that totally SUCKS! Surely the shipping company has records and whatever info you need? Please tell me they are bonded and insured.
Also... I am assuming that you got paid before the car was hauled away? Since the buyer arranged the transport, it should be his responsibility.
Yes, they have all the info. and I was told it was insured. I took many pictures of him loading the car. Also got pic of him and his DL. Cannot release any info about who the transport co is at this time due to investigation. Hope someone has seen it!
Was he a private contractor working for the company? The tow vehicle show up anywhere? If it does end up in Mexico or someplace, I hope the transport companys insurance doesn't try to screw you or the buyer. Did they offer stated value protection or anything? I learned that "oh we have 2 million in coverage" (in liability that is, doh!) isn't going to help.
Back in 1989 I had a car transported to my new home 400 miles away. Driver got into a wreck and the car was totaled (along with their rig). Their insurance company started with only giving me trade in value for the car, a clean 78,000 mile 1970 Old Cutlass was worth $975 to them lol. Needless to say it took almost two years of court time to get back a fraction of what it was worth.
