I'm really on the fence about this. Its a situation where i don't have to sell it, and all it has been doing is sitting under a car cover for most of the last 6 months, so it's not hurting anything being here, but at the same time, life goes on and I could use the money for another vehicle (truck or suv) or another hobby (firearms) so here it goes.

What it is :

This is a southern car. it was originally from miami area of florida, and been here in SC for bout 5 years now give or take.

I'm open to trades as well as the 4k cash. what im looking for is a fullsize chevy/ gmc /dodge 4 door crew cab truck, or a Tahoe/suburban/yukon.

I'm sure i forgot stuff but thats old age. lol. here's some pics i have of it. For recent pics ill have to uncover it, wash it and then photo it.... and its cold out so its hard to get that motivated.

I have a very nice 96 tahoe with ONLY 79K miles. I am asking 5250 for it, I have been comparing prices but there is not much to compare to since I cant find any this body style with this low of mileage on it. The lowest I have found is in the 120K range and they are going for between 6-8K. Id be interested in trading if you could bring a little cash with your side.

Thanks for the offer man. I like the truck, but i wanna come out as an even swap or cash if possible. I can throw in whatever parts i can find that i had bought and squirreled away here but thats bout it.

I took some the other morning when the wind blew the cover off. fair warning, the car hasnt been washed or cleaned, and yes, the hood is popped so i could get to the battery to reconnnect it without having to open the car up. It DOES latch without issue.

daily bump. I found some parts for the car. Have the aluminum TPI distributor plate, a spare transmission (core needs rebuilt) and i think i have a set of black powder coated Alston Sub frame connectors around here somewhere.. i dont think i sold them yet.

yea, the top and clearcoat are the major issues. I hate that im selling her, and in all actuallity i dont have to. Im just doing it as i dont drive her, and well the dream has bene achieved of having it for awhile. besides the wife wont let me sell ol purple, so this one is the one to go.

also found i have the origional owners manual, including uncut plastic key, the origianal 91 Chevrolet Camaro Cassette Tape, and i think i got a 91 sales brochure too to go with it.

Tops from topsonline are under 500.00 with all the pads to boot.

paint from what i can tell is just a common clearcoat problem for most part. I'd of course repaint the whole car cause im a bit OCD as you can tell by my purple car.

Yea by april if the car hadnt sold im just gonna keep her. hell by mid january ill probably re-decide to just keep her.

I must admit, im quite surprised that there is not alot more interest in my 91 z28 convertible. used to be that folks wanted these cars so bad they could taste it.

They usually do but this just isn't the right season for people to buy Thirdgens, and its a convertible making it farther out of season. I bet it would sell very quickly come April/May for the upcoming summer. you would probably get more than what your asking too.

I would be interested in it, but i don't have the cash for it right now. i start a new job in January so depending on how much extra i might see about it then. i have watched the post for a bit now and am also surprised. but the two things killing it for me is the lack of cash, and it's an auto..... but the auto part is easy enough to fix...

yea, i figured someone would be interested in picking up the vert now, because its not in season and its not gonna bump the price up unneccessarialy. 3200 is too low. even if were to have let it go at 3500 its still under what i paid for the car, not to mention the stuff i have done to it (stereo, exhaust, ac, etc.)

not to mention that now would be oppertune to pick itup and get her the way you want for spring /summer.

I hope she goes soon, everyday i look at it, i think to myself, do i really wanna sell it. lol.

Wow !!! I can't believe you haven't sold your car yet! That is the base for my dream car.I wish you would of decided a year ago to sell it, i was going to go to Florida to buy one from a guy on here, I had cash and was going to go pick it up,but he never got back with me and he sold it from underme. I was going to buy one before that in worse condition and the guy wanted $7,000 for a piece of junk that had over 280,000 miles! These cars are extremely rare and head turners! I have a 91 green convertible rs that has the clear coat peeling and I still get compliments all the time. I am getting married and I have to save all my money but if I was still single, you would of had a phone call on the first day you posted on here! I hope you get what you are asking for and I know that is a crazy deal for someone that is looking for one like yours. Wish you the best with this car!

AS of right now i have her, and 4k is what im asking or best reasonable offer.

Ive got about 4500.00 give or take in the car when i bought this car back in fall of 07 i put down nearly 4k just for the car. add the stuff ive done, well you can see ive got a good bit more in the car than what im asking for her.

I was 2nd owner of this car. I bought it from a woman in Ft Lauderdale. Her husband was a Chevy Mechanic. She sold it to me after their divorce. I put the 3.27 disc brake rear in just before I sold it. Had to make room for the BlackBird. Would buy it back, but still don't have room. Fun is an understatement for this car. Such a deal!

Thanks for the kind words. Bumping again. She's a great car. just hate seeing her sit under a cover, and ive kinda changed life prioritys. My dream was to have her, i had her. now its time to let someone else enjoy her for the right price.
