1992 RS T-Top
Looking to sell my camaro.
2500.00 or trade.
1992 RS with T-Tops, 305 tbi, 700r4. Runs and drives great. Bought it in 08 after wanting one for 20 years. The car is not mint, but it is in pretty good shape. I was in the process of bringing it back to all it's glory when we got hit by a tornado in April 09. She got some scuffing in the paint from roofing shingles, a small dent in the drivers fender.
Does have the T-Top bag which in in excellent shape, and the cargo area cover that I have not checked out since the tornado so I will say it is in decent shape as it was before, but was in the garage when the house was destroyed, but I do have it.
Here's a list of what I did after I got it.
New wheel bearings on all four corners.
New factory style cherry bomb muffler and tail pipes.
New Panasonic cd player and Pioneer speakers.
New tires.
New idler arm.
New heater core.
New neutral safety switch.
Replaced the center console, and shifter cover plate.
New MSD coil.
Took dash completely out to fix wiring where the previous owner had cut out the start enable relay and just hacked the wiring. All repairs were soldered and covered with heat shrink. That's when I discovered the heater core and changed it.
Other than the dash and drivers seat the interior is in pretty good shape.
What it needs.
New windshield.
New weather striping and seals.
I would sand it and repaint the whole car, but you could just do the bad panels and it would look just fine.
There is a little rust on the bottom side of the rear deck where the spoiler bolts were leaking at some time in the past, but it can be sanded off and touched up.
Just recently the power steering pump has developed a small leak from the reservoir seal, I just don't have the time to fix it right now. The seal is just a couple of bucks and would only take a couple of hours to replace.
I really don't want to sell the car, but it deserves a home with someone that has the time to dedicate into making her pristine again. Between work and trying to finish rebuilding our home due to the tornado I just don't have the time to dedicate to it.
I paid 2900.00 in 08 + 150 for someone to go get it, and then started fixing all that I have.
I do have some spare parts that I have picked up that will go with the car along with a factory repair manual.
Let me know if you have any questions and I will get back to you as soon as I can. I try and check email daily, but sometimes goes two days depending on work.
Thanks for looking.

Re: 1992 RS T-Top
If someone makes me the right offer I might be coerced into bringing the car part way to you. I will have to pay for gas and usage of a friends truck and trailer.
Lets deal.

Would also be willing to trade for a boat. Something for the family to do together before the little one goes off to college.
